What you’ll be doing...

Verizon 5G Edge makes innovation possible in ways never before considered. We are entering a new era where MEC and 5G will enable ultralow latency applications like IoT, autonomous vehicles, real-time asset tracking, image and video recognition, AR/VR, immersive gaming, and automated robotics. These next-generation technologies demand new network thinking, and you could be a part of a team that ushers in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

You will be part of the Network Management Center, focused on supporting MEC (Multi-Access Edge Compute). We are a 24·7·365 Operations team that ensures the reliability, performance, and security of the infrastructure and technology that MEC leverages to deliver the power of the cloud built right into America's best Wireless Network.

  • Troubleshooting the infrastructure of the Edge Compute, Network, and Storage for MEC.
  • Generating, driving, and updating trouble tickets via an internal ticketing system.
  • Ensuring low latency, high availability, and performance of the overall platform.
  • Managing communications to our internal and external partners and customers.
  • Handling phone calls to respond to network alarms and events.
  • Enhancing automation through scripting to improve team efficiency.
