What you’ll be doing...

You will be working with internal Accounts Payable teams and external Verizon employees to resolve defects related to security access and make decisions in response to security access requests and role modifications. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be used to manage many tasks while keeping audit logs of each security decision and each role modification request. You will utilize project management tools to ensure deliverables are completed on time across the Accounts Payable organization and your communication skills will be used to facilitate calls and to write professional email to large audiences.

  • Serving as an Accounts Payable Data Trustee approving SAP role requests and supporting all security-related audits.
  • Supporting the Accounts Payable Systems & Projects Team on the 1ERP project, M&A projects, Business as usual projects, and other cross-team efforts impacting Accounts Payable.
  • Working with security to resolve access-related defects and change requests.
  • Organizing tasks and deliverables using automation and big data tools.
  • Attending calls and facilitating calls with Accounts Payable employees.
  • Maintaining spreadsheets to track test scripts across multiple project releases.
  • Collaborating with teammates for ideas to improve existing processes.
  • Tracking Accounts Payable owned and Accounts Payable impacting risks, actions, issues, decisions, and change requests.
  • Organizing and storing historical security decisions.
  • Extracting data to support Accounts Payable audits.
  • Working with teams inside and outside Accounts Payable.
  • Developing process improvements related to data trustee functions.
  • Assisting with requests from the Office of Change Management (training materials, employee communications, supplier communications, etc.).
  • Organizing project resource documentation in a central repository.
  • Collaborating to build project dashboards to help manage the high volume of Accounts Payable role information.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience..
  • Experience with system security.
  • Experience in systems design, configuration, testing, and implementations.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience with meeting facilitation.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or economics.
  • Knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
  • Accounts payable and/or general ledger experience.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience using Smart sheets or MS Project.
  • Experience with AYS.
