What you’ll be doing...

The work you’ll be doing will help ensure that software solutions work as expected and meet the requirements of their users. You will be working with colleagues across IT to improve designs, identify performance constraints, resolve complex system issues and communicate required changes. The solutions you help implement will help us meet our customer’s needs and make it easy for them to do business with us.

  • Performing hands-on coding work on projects to introduce new modular, reusable Service/API or enhancing the existing ones.
  • Planning, tracking and reporting on complex projects, establishing clear roadmaps for project delivery and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Developing systems and applications to deliver business functions and improve system architecture designs.
  • Analyzing architecture, relationships between systems and systems flow to ensure alignment with desired end user experience.
  • Developing, executing and modifying test scripts to test business processes and products across applications.
  • Producing technical documentation to describe system capabilities and performance and demonstrate the value of solutions.
  • Tools/Skill-Quality Performance Center,Jira/Jenkins/DevOPS tools, automation of test scripts, web-service technology, Oracle SQL Creations and Execution.
  • Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and juggling multiple activities and changing priorities comes easily to you.

What we’re looking for...

Collaborating with colleagues to solve complex problems with innovative solutions motivates you. You’re an excellent communicator, and enjoy meeting and exceeding customer expectations. You can work equally well in diverse, cross-functional teams or independently with minimal direction.

You’ll need to have:

  • Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience developing applications in Java J2EE, Angularjs, JavaScript and SQL.
  • Experience developing Spring boot applications, Microservices.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Database developer skills including Stored Procedures for Oracle, as well as Oracle PL/SQL and PostGreSQL.
  • Database Experience, backend testing, Unix (shell scripting, navigation, file ,editing, etc).
  • Experience with developing quick solutions to complex issues.
  • Knowledge of Node.js, Groovy, Python.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools including JIRA, Git/Stash, Confluence, Jenkins.
  • Experience with cloud environments AWS, PCF, K8S, etc.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle phases, including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Experience with Quality Assurance tools.
  • Experience with databases and solid SQL skills.
  • Test Web based applications/Web Services.

Other Information:

  • This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office as set by the manager.
