What you’ll be doing...

We are looking for a talented UX professional to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders and other talented UX professionals to design experiences. It will be essential that this you are proactive and a great collaborator, and can contribute to strategic direction and execution of systematic design in partnership with cross functional teams.

  • Develops the user experience and design for the consumer groups.
  • Partners with project team and IT to develop user experience for new functionality - understands project targets and desired intents / customer experiences and develop the online user experience / design / wireframes for all projects / enhancements to the portal.
  • Works with stakeholders and others in a multi-disciplinary team to define requirements and develop the solution.
  • Participates in user research and observation of user tasks, integrating these findings with business requirements to transform the user’s mental model into the user interface.
  • Leverages experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision or Axure to design intuitive and simple user interfaces for web and mobile solutions, producing storyboards, mock ups and conceptual models.
  • Uses strong people skills and negotiation skills to ensure teams are aligned on the customer experience strategy.

You have a great eye for design but also know that it’s not just about looks. Your designs are grounded in what the user wants and needs. What you build is new but somehow reflects exactly how people prefer to navigate. You understand and balance both the user and the business perspective. Understanding and meeting the needs of stakeholders is strength of yours while still maintaining your own vision and point of view. You hold the firm belief that different perspectives create the best solutions and groundbreaking new designs.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • UX/UI design experience including a portfolio.
  • Experience in end-to-end system design, including e-commerce, portal, etc.

Even better if you have:

  • Master's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Ability to build High Fidelity Prototype to test the experiences.
  • A strong sense of style with impeccable design fundamentals.
  • Ability to develop interface design systems that combine branding and commerce.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision or Axure.
  • Agile experience.
  • Advanced training on user experience (UX) from a qualified institution (Human Factors International etc.)
  • Wireless experience.
  • Digital personalization experience.
