What you’ll be doing...

  • Applying the relevant Strategic, Operational and Tactical elements of the Verizon International Project Office.
  • Applying key Project Office / PMO principles and methodologies to the International (EMEA & APAC) Portfolio with a heavy focus on Data Management.
  • Designing, deploying and maintaining the end-to-end flow of Project Data including quote/order/delivery status and key milestone dates.
  • Ensuring that all data held by the Project Office is of high quality, is available at all times and is a reliable source of data for Project Management Teams to use.
  • Providing high quality data from the Project Data Model as inputs into Stakeholder Management Information.
  • Ensuring high integrity data within existing Information Repositories and CMDB systems
  • Providing accurate and timely statistical information on the status of Projects and Programmes to the respective Project Teams and wider Project Office organisation and to feed into Portfolio/Programme/Project Satus Reports.
  • Proactively and reactively analyzing and manipulating Project Data from various sources as required to assist Project Management Teams in successfully managing their deliveries
  • Using data to help analyse Lessons Learned from existing/completed Projects for onward consideration for future Projects
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the International Project Office

What we’re looking for...

You´ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
  • Data manipulation experience including use of MS Excel (e.g. Macros, VLookups and Pivot Tables) and G-Suite equivalents.
  • Fluency in English.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience working as PMO / Data Analyst / Data Scientist.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Specific experience of effective Data Management in large organisations where data is dispersed between multiple systems.
  • Additional data analysis skills including awareness of tools such as R and/or Python.
  • Data presentation skills including use of tools such as Minitab and/or Tableu (or equivalent).
  • Experience with database architectures including Oracle and MySQL.
  • Highly driven and dynamic personality with a strong presence and excellent communication skills.
  • Professional, hard-working, proactive and highly organised attitude with an ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic working environment.
  • Willingness to develop new collateral and bring innovation to the organisation.
  • Experience as a DBA and/or knowledge of Database Architecture.
  • Experience in Prince2, MSP, PMP, ITL and/or P3O
