What you’ll be doing...

You will support Payroll processing activities related to specific specialized tax deduction updates that impact an employee’s paycheck and W-2, such as Stock vesting, Executive dual work updates, Expats, and Annual Incentive payouts.

In addition to performing analytical audits of the pay cycle registers to ensure both timeliness and accuracy are achieved in processing all employee payments, you will be responsible for submitting monthly or quarterly tax files to various Federal and State agencies.

  • Follow defined processing schedules to ensure the timely and accurate recording of all Expat tax forms and transactions.
  • Submit monthly SSA-EVS files.
  • Submit quarterly New York Exempt Reports.
  • Care for Executive dual work allocation updates.
  • Calculate applicable lookback allocation to apply to one-off vesting events.
  • Work closely with our Executive Compensation & IT teams to process weekly, biweekly, and monthly stock payouts.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Payroll Tax experience/Multi-state.
  • Experience with handling Expat taxation/forms.
  • Knowledge of how lookbacks are calculated for stock taxation.
  • Experience in Customer Service and HRMS/Payroll Processing system applications.
  • Strong MS Excel knowledge.
  • W-2 preparation experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Knowledge of the end-to-end Payroll functional processes as well as how the Payroll functional processes integrate with the overall end-to-end Payroll Tax processes.
  • Experience with HCM systems, ie: PeopleSoft, Workday.
  • Experience with 3rd party tax applications, i.e. Fidelity.
  • Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong sense of urgency, proactive approach, and a solid focus on results.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet processing demands.
  • CPP or FPC.
