Please note, although headquartered in Denver, we have a permanent Work from Home Structure, and our team members all work remotely. This is a full-time position and will report to the Head of Device Planning and Marketing for Visible and Yahoo Mobile.

We are seeking a collaborative and experience-oriented Device Technology Lead that will be responsible for maintaining an outstanding user experience for members using their devices on our network. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all post-launch device technology operations including performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and software upgrade testing/certification. You will lead the development and release of new SIM profiles, as well as the end to end support for the entire bring-your-own (BYO) portfolio of devices. You will also be leading a small team of two individual contributors who will help you on your mission to make members’ experiences with their devices best-in-class. This is a newly created position so you will be building many processes from scratch and hiring the team to help turn your vision into a reality.

  • Performance monitoring and reporting for all supported devices operating on our network.

  • Troubleshooting of customer facing issues in partnership with Verizon Product & Engineering teams, as well directly with OEMs.

  • Technical profile development and SKU creation for all SIM/eSIM products.

  • End-to-end process ownership for all BYO compatible devices purchased off-platform.

  • Testing and certification for software upgrades made to all supported devices.

  • Support the Verizon Device Marketing & Product organization with their efforts to onboard new OEMs and devices.

What we’re looking for...

You have a technical background, focused on mobile/network technology. You have a keen eye for detail, an appreciation for the creation and adherence to processes, and a bias to action for solving member-facing issues as if they were your own.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Five or more years of experience working with the technical aspects of mobile networks and connected devices.

  • Collaborative, relationship-driven mindset - able to get things done cross-functionally with ease.

  • Strong analytical skills to surface device performance concerns before they impact members.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organization, communication and team building skills.
