What you’ll be doing...

We constantly seek to improve the customer experience with our innovative technologies and elite service. That’s where you come in. You’ll coordinate testing and turn up services with all involved providers to ensure that customer’s issues are resolved faster and more efficiently. Government sponsored Top Secret security clearance is required for this role.

  • Responsible for performing routed/switched network design activity for large enterprise customer data networks.
  • Primary interface to customers in support of WAN/LAN enterprise projects.
  • Responsible for investigating, designing, planning, and implementing communications networks.
  • Work with customer teams to develop solutions that support their requirements.
  • Prepare network schematics to define and illustrate network design solutions.
  • Create hardware and software configuration upgrades.
  • Provide IP addressing and routing strategies.
  • Prepare detailed work orders for technicians.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical knowledge and CCNP experience.
  • Experience with Cisco LAN switching.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government sponsored Top Secret security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification.
  • Security+ Certification.
  • Experience with contemporary technologies including MPLS, TCP/IP, IPSec, BGP, QoS, IP Telephony, Multicast, and/or other similar tools.
  • Excellent customer service and organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently or as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the following areas: multi-tasking, critical thinking; and the ability to work quickly, efficiently and accurately in a dynamic and fluid environment.
