What you’ll be doing...

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you’ll help us find great talent with the experience and potential to make a difference for our customers and drive our business forward. Your approach to hiring will demonstrate our belief that people are our most important asset. The people you hire will become a part of our community of talented, driven individuals that make Verizon a great place to work.

  • Drawing on extensive knowledge of talent acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners.
  • Building market intelligence, leading client/account management, prioritization, and understanding the value of providing exceptional recruiting services at scale.
  • Mentoring recruiters supporting our India Centre across multiple sites in India.
  • Facilitating and executing the full life-cycle recruitment process to hire Verizon employees.
  • Locating new places and new approaches to source the best people in the competitive market for talent and presenting the best candidates for consideration.
  • Engaging and managing any external agency relationships and/or industry-specific organizations involved in supporting your client group.
  • Ensuring compliance with recruiting processes and recruiting KPI’s.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll know how to find diverse talent. You enjoy the challenge of matching individuals to roles and helping them to see how they’ll fit in and thrive at Verizon. You’ll enjoy collaborating with managers to bring great talent to their teams.
You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of experience leading a team of high-performing recruiters.
  • Two or more years of experience in recruiting in emerging technologies like Salesforce, Fullstack developers, Pega, AI/ML, Datascience, Cloudetc.
  • Experience in providing hiring insights through metrics and analysis reporting to business and TA leaders

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Six or more years of experience in technology recruiting in an IT organization of repute.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with good negotiation skills.
  • Ability to Influence leaders in taking complex decisions for the organization.
  • Ability to partner effectively with global recruiting teams, HR business partners and other functional leaders.
