What you’ll be doing...

Come, be part of the formative team at the Verizon product group, focused on innovation, new products and technology.

The Technical Product Manager, will be responsible for managing product development efforts, for creating rapid prototypes and POCs. You will own the product definition, user experience and work with a cross-functional team to build successful prototypes. This role has the unique opportunity to give you access to the latest in technology, build relationships with key partners and evangelize our core services and platform externally. This role is highly visible and you will be asked to present/defend your prototypes to senior management periodically.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer needs from market research, analytics, brainstorming and competitive insights.
  • Write product requirement documents from marketing documents, high level use cases and requirements.
  • Deliver business and product requirements documents and feature prioritization.
  • Lead technical conversations with other technical teams, defining developmental plans.
  • Work with the larger cross-functional team to define the team's product strategy and detailed roadmap.
  • Working with AI/ML based technologies to define solutions in hybrid cloud environments
  • Mobile user experience design, A/B testing.
  • Work hands-on with development, QA, designers, business, marketing and operations teams to successfully design, build, and deploy product features.
  • Analyze, manage, iterate and track the continued success of features via tracking metrics.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience. (MBA a plus).
  • Three or more years of experience in Mobile and/or Internet Product Management role.
  • Four or more years of experience managing scalable products.
  • Experience in AI, IoT, AR/VR and Machine Learning.
  • Two or more years of experience in Agile methodology.
  • Capability to successfully interface with cross-functional teams within product development (i.e. QA, Sales/Marketing, Operations, etc.).
  • Ability to be a self-motivated learner and builder.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills.
