What you’ll be doing...

The Digital Analytics Manager drives enterprise-wide evolution of marketing measurement and insight generation within the Corporate Marketing organization and includes primary responsibility for campaign reports as well as guidance to digital agencies, in-house buying teams (COE), and Business Unit marketing.

You will drive consistent delivery of concise, actionable analysis of our marketing activity across all channels and consumer campaigns, often requiring collaboration and influence with Verizon colleagues outside of your team. We’re looking for a leader who thrives on collaboration with other teams (media planning, in-house buying, agency, business unit, CRM, research, creative, privacy) and external platforms including key partners (i.e. Adobe, Google, Epsilon, etc.).

You will be well established as an optimization expert across media formats (with particular emphasis on programmatic, SEM, Paid Social, and SEO), and a master translator of outcomes into insights. Your effective communication will compel action to drive continuous improvement of campaign performance.

Your day to day:

  • Evergreen campaign performance measurement including the development of KPIs, projections, executive updates and campaign post-mortem analysis
  • Stewardship of standing weekly and monthly reporting for stakeholders in media and business unit leaders
  • Timely executive updates on performance of key campaigns i.e. Device launches, Holiday, and Super Bowl
  • Develop dashboards to enable real-time performance insights.
  • Subject matter expertise in all things concerning data including site analytics, ad server, and buying platforms
  • Support internal biddable media buying teams (COE) by evolving their approach and capabilities in measurement
  • Consult experiential and sponsorship teams on measurement of non-traditional media initiatives
  • Evaluate tools that will level up Verizon’s capabilities in the marketing measurement
  • Effectively manage agency partners who function as an extension of the internal team

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in measurement of Display, Paid Search, Paid Social & other digital channels.
  • Experience using at least two of DCM, SA360, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics.
  • Exceptionally clear and assertive communication skills.

Even better if you have:

  • Six or more years of experience in measurement of Display, Paid Search, Video, Social, Audio, Mobile, or other digital channels.
  • Detail-oriented approach to holistic marketing measurement and project management.
  • Results-driven perspective on marketing.
  • Accomplishments in data visualization, including platforms such as Tableau.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply business strategy to data analysis and recommendations.
  • Strong experience with dashboards and reporting, involving large datasets and multiple data sources, with ability to interpret data and produce meaningful insights.
  • Exceptional ability to turn raw data into actionable conclusions.
  • Passion for digital communications, new technologies and constantly evolving our approach.
