What you’ll be doing...

The Marketing Automation Manager has end-to-end responsibility for creation and optimization of all email programs for Verizon Connect and is highly focused on generating leads and improving lead to sale conversions to drive marketing revenue. In this role, you will work with Sales, CMO, PR, Product, Digital and Field Marketing as well as the broader Demand Generation team to strategize, create and optimize email campaigns across each stage of the buyer’s journey and across all segments. You must have prior marketing automation experience. You will be responsible for email campaign strategy for North America with a focus on top of funnel and onboarding initiatives. You will be tasked with closely examining each campaign to identify opportunities to drive improvement including executing tests and making changes to design, subject lines, flow, etc. You will be responsible for analyzing results, reporting on engagement and coming up with suggested next steps to improve results.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Building new email campaigns to drive new leads or nurture existing leads - both with the goal of turning leads into sales and marketing revenue.
  • Managing top of funnel demand gen initiatives to ensure not only a great customer experience throughout the entire buying journey, but also speed to Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) and then sale.
  • Designing tests and initiatives to drive more top of funnel leads from the website, but also faster conversions to MQLs.
  • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for programs through analyzing and interpreting key metrics/reports, recommending corrective action, and ensuring continuous improvement and effectiveness.
  • Directing internal and external agencies on campaign strategy to ensure deliverables are created accordingly.
  • Managing email scheduling tool to ensure leads are onboarded and moved to sales expediently.
  • Developing a solid understanding of product portfolio, target audience, buyer’s journey, key pain points and sales process.
  • Proactively engaging with the different marketing and sales organizations to communicate initiatives and optimize the impact of related activities.
  • Identifying and executing on opportunities to improve conversions from campaigns by analyzing results and working closely with the broader Marketing team.
  • Presenting ideas and results to all levels of leadership.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Marketing automation experience including experience with Eloqua or Marketo.
  • Experience in B2B.
  • Project management experience, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Lead management and analytical skills.

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
