What you’ll be doing...

Omni Voice handles all projects related to Voice Technology in Verizon Consumer Group. The team handles the IVR (Interactive Voice Recognition) Voice Application Development in Google Dialog Flow Platform along with AEP Platform. The team also handles the Voice Tools Management, Voice Applications in Contact Center, Voice Biometrics & Fraud Management and also Voice Bot Development in Alexa, Google Dialog Flow. All these applications uses Microservices framework for orchestration & technology management.

Verizon Mobile/Wireless IVR - Handles 4.5 million calls a day with 85% self-serve rate. Verizon Wireless IT’s IVR is an enterprise-wide solution that supports multiple business segments 24X7 and is the front door for service calls catering to both English and Spanish speaking customer base.

Team is looking for a full stack candidate to be part of Omni Voice Agile/POC team to contribute & lead the design & development tasks in Inbound Applications. The candidate would primarily be working on inbound applications in Google CCAI – Dialog Flow Platform & Microservices. This is one of the critical revenue streams for Verizon to enable the roadmap of Conversational Commerce, and being a high volume application, performance & scalability in this case is of paramount importance.

  • Deliver across the entire app life cycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support.
  • Work on IVR development with Google CCAI – Dialog Flow with tighter microservice architecture & GCP CF & AWS Lambdas integration and strong experience in Inbound IVR applications.
  • Participate in the Agile/POD Teams for the applications that the candidate would be working on.
  • Act independently, at the same time display excellent collaboration within and between various teams.
  • Be accountable for the work allotted and stick to LOE provided. Track and develop tasks on time with no compromise to quality and keeping productivity of the team.
  • Follow Impact analysis and risk analysis processes in case of change requests.
  • Ensure performance of the code developed as an ongoing basis and use the right tools for the same.
  • Work closely with team to develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the web & voice technologies.
  • Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects.
  • Ensure security validations during design, coding & Validation.
  • Test Plan Creation and test execution using Cyara to cover all the functional/non-functional requirements for the projects.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of IVR development experience with inbound applications experience.
  • Three or more years of Google CCAI – Dialog Flow Platform experience
  • Three or more years of Microservice Development & Integration experience using Spring Boot, Spring React
  • Two or more years of experience in Google Cloud Platform – Cloud Functions
  • Three or more years of experience in Dev Ops Tool Chain (Git/Stash, JIRA, Confluence, Junit, JaCoCo, Sonar, Fortify, Jenkins, Prevoty).

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with Google Looker, Google Biq Query Platform.
  • Experience with Alexa Skills.
  • Experience with Digital Integrations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
