What you’ll be doing...

You would be part of the Verizon consumer Program and release management team and would be playing the role of a Release Train Engineer for the consumer org Programs. As part of this role, you will have the responsibility for Managing programs end to end by working with multiple program stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the program objectives.

Release Train Engineer (RTE) responsible for Managing E2E Programs for Verizon Consumer organization. RTE will be the thought leader who guides and influences multiple projects across multiple application as they adopt & implement. The Release Train Engineer (RTE) facilitates Agile Release Train processes and execution. Escalates impediments, helps manage risk, helps ensure value delivery, and drives continuous improvement. Supporting to guide and manage the ART and the teams through the delivery of software.

  • End to End Management of Enterprise level program.
  • Risk assessment and Mitigation.
  • Data driven insights to streamline Release/Program management.
  • Draw inferences from Project Management metrics and provide recommendations to optimize for speed to IT delivery.
  • Enable IT transformation by working across delivery and support functions like HR, Sourcing, Legal, Infrastructure, Security and others to facilitate transformation of people and processes.
  • Enterprise Scaled Agile Framework implementation.
  • Establish new processes and/or fine tune existing process in the areas of budgeting, scheduling and resource management to maximize productivity and improve upon software delivery capabilities.
  • Roadmap and action plan towards achieving operational objectives.
  • Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; evaluating outcomes.
  • Enable teams to complete all required meetings on time; facilitate regular team meetings.
  • Collect, monitor, and report statistical data and an analysis of the data within specified time frames.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of experience in RTE / program management Enterprise program management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise systems architecture.
  • Experience in managing Scrum/Agile enterprise scale.
  • Enterprise program management experience.
  • Experience in Executive level presentations.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree in business administration.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of experience in RTE / program management Enterprise program management experience.
  • Scrum/PMI/SAFe certification.
  • SAFe Agile Certification.
  • Experience in Business analyst or Testing Functions.
