What you’ll be doing...

As a senior member of the project management office within the AI&D Business Enablement Organization, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed ina timely fashion and within budget:

  • Oversee business projects and ensure that they are completed on time, while, ensuring all team members uphold the company's standards throughout each project's development and execution
  • Collaborate with other department leaders within AI&D to define, prioritize, and develop projects.
  • Plan project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
  • Oversee the development of the project and ensure that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards.
  • Draft new and improving existing project management office policies and processes.
  • Continuously evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
  • Accurately document the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification. Along with report formulation
  • Manage JIRA boards, create and maintain user stories and epics
  • Train and manage junior resources within the PMO team
  • Create and share project status and progress reports with the larger audience and leadership team
  • Oversee the onboarding of new members.

What we’re looking for...

You have excellent experience in project management – Project planning, managing project resource allocations, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, running daily scrum calls, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project.

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of project management experience
  • Experience with end to end project management from planning to production of strategic initiatives.
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Good working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
  • Good attention to detail and technicalities.
  • Excellent organizational and technical skills.
  • Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a team player with a proven ability to work cross-functionally.

Even better you have:

  • Two or more years in a supervisory project management position.
  • Five or more years of experience in the industry.
  • Experience interacting and collaborating deeply with other lines of business & the ability to work across cross-cultural teams.
  • Knowledge of data science/machine learning concepts would be an advantage.
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or relevant.
  • Experience with dev-ops and agile models, as well as more traditional functional operating models.
