What you’ll be doing...

  • Developing test specification for embedded image/video processing systems.
  • Creating test plans for product verification and validation.
  • Automating test cases.
  • Developing and maintaining the automated test environment for product verification/validation.
  • Executing test cases for regression or new features (mostly automated, occasionally manual).
  • Creating appropriate test records.
  • Documenting and reporting faults in the internal issue-tracking system, managing bug life cycle.
  • Managing tests as a part of Continuous Integration.
  • Providing customer support.
  • Working in small teams, reporting to team leader/project manager.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer/telecommunications engineering or relevant work experience.
  • Experience in system testing or requirement testing.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Programming and/or scripting skills (e.g. Python or shell scripting).
  • Experience with Linux operating system (Ubuntu).
  • Knowledge of basic IP networking.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Organization skills and attention to details.
  • Understanding and appreciation of the product life cycle, quality assurance and related processes.
  • Advanced level English (both written and verbal).
  • Experience with video or image processing systems.
  • Experience in object oriented programming (C++, C#, Java or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with tools and methods used in testing embedded systems (firmware/software).
