What you’ll be doing...

The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, support, and maintenance of network devices in a highly complex lab environment.

  • Applying routing protocols like BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.
  • Supporting and maintaining all networking elements of a high availability Production AWS environment.
  • Designing networks and connectivity between multiple sites/networks and AWS.
  • Providing support during normal business hours; will provide on-call support and periodic support for scheduled off-hours maintenance.
  • Responding appropriately to alerts/issues.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of Experiencing with network design leveraging Cisco, F5 and Check Point hardware, network experience with Cisco routers and switches.
  • Two or more years of experience managing Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series and Nexus switches, Cisco ACE Load Balancers (ACE-20), managing F5 Big IP and VIPRION systems, Checkpoint Security Gateway appliances (Power-1 series).
  • One or more years of experience managing Checkpoint Security Management appliances.
  • Cisco network certifications.

Even better if you have:

  • Five or more years of relevant work experience managing complex network infrastructure in a large environments.
  • Strong problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Documentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously and to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong ability to effectively recognize, research, and analyze new technologies.
  • Capability to be a team player and able to work with internal teams, external vendors, and 3rd party service providers.
  • Experience with high availability environments with 99.99% SLA.
  • Ability to express complex situational information verbally and in written form.
  • Real Time experience in managing both Data and Voice Network Environment.
  • Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
