What you’ll be doing...

Verizon’s Cloud Engineering & Enablement Team is looking for Technical Program/Project managers with experience in Scrum/Agile Product Management practices. You will be part of the Monitoring-as-a-Service Product Management team that is accountable for end-to-end support and enablement of industry-standard SaaS based Performance Monitoring suite of tools that includes APM, Infra, RUM, Mobile and Synthetics using New Relic and Catchpoint. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate/engage directly with these product vendors to drive and lead new implementations for the Organizations.

  • Working in the capacity of Scrum Master to facilitate and host all the Scrum events, including Sprint Planning Meetings, Daily Stand-up Meetings, Reviews and Retrospectives by following the Enterprise Scaled Agile/Scrum Framework implementation.
  • Prioritizing the projects, stakeholder relationship and internal consulting on Agile practices and Creating roadmaps and action plans to achieve operational objectives.
  • Optimizing Resource, Strategic support, Multi project Management Resource, Project Services.
  • Managing the project lifecycle of small to large implementation projects including RFPs, system and implementation partner selection, requirements gathering, project planning and management, risk management, communications, and partner management.
  • Understanding the technical issues reported to the team and further collaborating and Coordinating with internal IT Teams, Portfolio Teams or Vendors to address and resolve the issues.

What we’re looking for...

We are looking for a Technical Program/Project manager with strong experience in driving projects by following the Agile/Scrum practices with excellent detailed written and verbal communication skills, including user interface documentation skills for both business and technical audiences.
You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • One year or more experience in managing Scrum/Agile projects at enterprise scale.
  • Two or more years of experience in project/program management, technical project management.
  • One or more experience with project/program management toolsets (JIRA/Confluence etc).

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree in business administration.
  • Experience interacting with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions specific to the products.
  • Experience in collaborating and coordinating with cross functional IT teams, External vendors and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience in preparing Project Plans, Executive Reporting, Excel reports, SDLC planning and Process Diagramming and documentation.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and.
  • Business Analysis knowledge
  • Scrum/PMI/SAFe certification.
  • Experience presenting compelling business cases, business performance results, and recommendations.
