What you’ll be doing...


  • Providing development, functional and technical support to the NSA (North Star Architecture) Migration projects, including architecture, design, development, and delivery of environments/infrastructure using industry-standard processes, tools & technologies
  • Triaging of critical issues across the non-prod environments both from application and systems perspective and provide recommendations on process improvements
  • Knowledge of Business requirements and working with the development architects to translate requirements into solution architecture designs.
  • Building end to end SRE/AIOps dashboards for visualization, metrics and log analysis using Grafana
  • Enabling Real time system insights and self-healing
  • Designing and building the logging framework using Kibana/ELK, Kafka, Splunk etc
  • Enabling CICD automation through end to end pipelines covering builds, deployments, security scans, code scans as well as sanity automation integration using tools like Jenkins, maven, Git etc.
  • Responding to issues with a sense of urgency, these duties include the opening of an investigation and outage bridges, troubleshooting, management of traffic across multiple applications and locations, managing daily checkpoint calls, and tracking of open items on a daily basis for the supported applications.
  • Working closely with our Architects, Engineers, Operations, Product Managers and other clients and partners of the DevOps team to meet the needs of the organization to stay competitive - from the infrastructure up to the highest level of applications availability and scalability at optimum performance level.
  • Pro-actively analyzing current processes and practices and suggesting/driving improvements.
  • Enabling Canary deployments and Blue-Green environment setup as part of zero touch environment maintenance.
  • Driving organization-wide EKS/K8s/Cloud migrations, CICD automations, sanity automation initiatives and their implementation to ensure smooth operations and stability of the environment.
  • Analyzing competitive products and technologies and making appropriate suggestions (may use demos, POCs) to influence product/technology direction.
  • Deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting EKS/K8s/Cloud/DevOps platform including application servers, cloud resources, API management and integration, Single Sign-On and associated hardware or endpoints, and databases.
  • Designing, building, improving, and supporting a EKS/Kubernetes-based data processing architecture that can run on premise and in an AWS environment.
  • Building and configuring Kubernetes-based infrastructure, networking policies, LBs, and cluster security.
  • Automating the build of containerized systems with CI/CD tools, Helm charts, and more
  • Managing deployments and rollbacks of applications.
  • Supporting middleware distributed environments in standalone and highly available configuration including WebSphere Application Server, Oracle WebLogic, RedHat JBoss, & Apache Tomcat. You will be responsible for configuration, deployment, & automation of middleware components for new and existing application environments across Unix/Linux.
  • Monitoring and auditing virtual/hardware resources, security, operating system, service logs, and metrics for performance issues using centralized tools.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience in software development, software delivery lifecycle, application modernization, DevOps, Service/Infrastructure as Service and Operations.
  • Experience with Source Configuration Management, centralizing and automating the configuration management process.
  • Hands-on CI/CD experience on environment build automation, Jenkins, Cloud Formation, Ansible, Kubernetes, docker, Artifactory, Python, Shell, YAML, Gitlab and microservices framework.
  • Provisioning infrastructure services in Public Cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with container and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hand on experience with fluentd/fluent bit configurations and Experience in setting up end to End logging framework as ELK.
  • Experience with helm charts to deploy the applications to Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
  • Knowledge of microservice architecture patterns, and a fundamental understanding of cloud deployments and methodologies.
  • Experience with Jfrog and artifact management.
  • Experience with ANSIBLE configuration management tools.
  • Experience with Shell Scripting, Python and JavaScript.
  • Experience on Reactive Programming using ReactJS.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience in software development, software delivery lifecycle, application modernization, DevOps, Service/Infrastructure as Service and Operations.
  • Knowledge of applications with MVC Architecture and frameworks as Spring Boot, Spring CORE, Spring MVC, Struts.
  • Experience in API management tools like Apigee, API Gateway.
  • Experience with Spring Cloud, AWS ,AWS IOT , and Google Clouds technologies.
  • Experience working with databases such as Oracle, SQL, Cassandra, Postgres, RDS.
