You will be responsible for proactive prospecting within your portfolio of potential accounts for opportunities as well as working leads from Verizon sources. The goal is to develop a pipeline of prospects within the “Micro” market segment that have opportunities for sales, introducing strategic products and features, demonstrating said products and ultimately closing business to secure incremental revenue.

Responsibilities...

  • Providing focus on new logo sales and executingsales strategies in efforts to significantly grow new business for Verizon Connect in the “Micro” segment.
  • Engaging and building relationships with small business owners and their executive teams.
  • Responding to inbound lead sources whilst also making outbound phone contacts, conducting web demonstrations, presenting and negotiating pricing, executing contracts, managing email campaigns developed in partnership with marketing, and leveraging other digital and inside sales tools across multiple platforms.
  • Communicating with the team frequently on sales activity metrics and performance.
  • Prioritizing your own activity, managing your time and sales pipeline to achieve goals and deliver accurate forecasting.
  • Following up on proposals and negotiating contracts with customers.

What we’re looking for...

You´ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in sales.
  • Experience selling into business customers.
  • Experience in regularly meeting or exceeding sales quotas and activity metrics.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Software sales experience (ideally selling Software as a Service).
  • Any other type of technology sales experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of business ROI and operating expense management.
