What you’ll be doing...

We want to delight our customers with an AI-powered video product that provides insights on the safety of their drivers thanks to our smart dashcams. That’s where you come in. With your focus on quality assessment of developed code, you’ll join the team who designs, implements and tests mobile applications that allow our customers to access our next-generation video product.You will be based in our Florence office and you will work on a flexible hybrid home/office schedule, but you’ll be part of a global team, with colleagues in different departments and locations.

  • Contribute to the creation of applications that allow our customers to access our next-generation video platform.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using C#, for components deployed to Amazon Cloud.
  • Execute, investigate and report on the success of automated tests as part of an Agile development lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough investigation of automation test failures and troubleshoot the issues.
  • Ensuring applications conform to modern design principles and can scale infinitely from the ground up.
  • Conduct research and Proof of Concepts on emerging technologies.
  • Provide effort estimations for the individual assignments and constant feedback to the team.
  • Participate in test scenarios planning sessions
  • Participate in code reviews and design workshops.
  • Work as part of a cross functional agile development team

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design practices.
  • Experience with Jenkins/Octopus or other CICD tools
  • Experience in test automation using a modern functional and/or OO programming language, preferably C#
  • Excellent communication skills

Even better if you have…

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience with mobile technologies.
  • Experience with JVM based test frameworks.
  • Familiarity with load testing tools for web services.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development processes.
  • Familiarity with RESTful web services and the JSON data format.
