What you’ll be doing...

At Verizon, we don’t just wait for the future, we build it. And that is never truer than in our Media and Engagement Team. We are seeking a media leader to join our passionate Brand team, to help build the future of media for Verizon. You will partner with the Consumer and Business teams, as well as the rest of the Central Marketing Organization and business units to build Verizon’s brand and drive awareness of and demand for products and services.

As a member of this exciting team, you will be responsible for shaping the media strategy and driving the activation of key Brand initiatives.

  • Leading strategy development for large scale brand initiatives.
  • Acting as the cross-team leader, integrating all aspects of media to define and execute campaigns (Social, Media Analytics, Sponsorship, experiential etc.).
  • Collaborating with Integrated Marketing, Consumer Insights, Marketing Effectiveness and Creative teams to deliver across key projects.
  • Leading the media agency relationship, providing clear briefing and direction.
  • Identifying and implementing innovation and thought leadership via Key partnerships and activations.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in developing data & audience driven, multi channel media strategies.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Eight or more years of brand marketing/media experience, with a focus on strategy.
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams for joint, idea led media plans.
  • Experience in content marketing and distributed content strategies.
  • Experience collaborating and leading, among many different teams and stakeholders.
  • Passion for driving results and innovating along the way.
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity and balance multiple dynamic priorities.
  • Influential storytelling skills, verbally and written.
  • Expert communication and partnership skills.
  • Effective project management and execution skills.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by your manager.
