What you’ll be doing...

As a member of the AI-OPS (Automation & Integration) team in the Wireless Network Management Center you will aid in the innovation and creation of high value tasks with the help of your advanced expertise in the field of software development. You should have exposure/experience with automation methods and tools. Some of the expected

  • Handle the technical aspects and design of the code are important while ensuring it aligns with directional tools and systems.
  • Create an approach to problem-solving as well as a detailed understanding of coding.
  • Ensure the needs identified by the Business are addressed.
  • Utilize strong leadership abilities, communication skills and an innovative mindset to partner with teams.
  • Test the developed applications prior to implementation.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Statistical software experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or Economics.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills to analyze complex solutions and problems.
  • Coding skills, preferably Python.
  • Project Management with knowledge of SAFE Agile Methodology.
  • Advanced knowledge of Wireless Systems/Tools; specifically VSM, WB360, IOP, OpsTracker, Granite, ENM, SAM, LTE networks and 1X to 5G technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of operating systems and applications including: UNIX, Windows, MS Office.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects while developing customized code for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience developing software utilizing various coding languages including Java, C++, PHP, No-JS, Perl, RPA and more.
  • Professional program certification in Java/Python or others.
  • Outstanding collaboration and communication skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of innovative technologies such as AI, machine learning, natural language processing.
  • Knowledge of the competitive landscape and demonstrate a firm understanding of future technology.
  • Experience with large-scale IT systems.
  • Proficiency with HTML, Dynamic HTML, CSS, server-side includes.
  • Proficiency with client-side scripting with JavaScript and VBScript programming languages and object-oriented programming.
  • Proficiency with retrieving data from a relational database with SQL programming.
  • Proficiency with Oracle database management, including creating new tables/views, modifying data types, adding new columns (fields), sequences and triggers, scripted data import.
  • Knowledge of the .NET and PHP programming language's interaction with Oracle via OCI8.
  • Knowledge of Linux cron jobs.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and the role they play in web content.
