What you’ll be doing...

As a lead data engineer you will be focusing on collecting data from multiple source in various formats and load the data using various tools and frameworks as required. Expanding and optimizing data and data pipeline architecture.

  • Working with stakeholders to understand requirements and effectively prioritizing for implementation.
  • Processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data, including integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Building secure, scalable, and stable data solutions using data storage technologies, distributed file system, data processing, and business intelligence best practices.
  • Driving the technical design and implementation of large scale data platforms, reusable data products and business ready data by utilizing modern and open source technologies, in a hybrid cloud environment.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Teradata and Big Data technologies - Hadoop/Spark/Scala/Kafka/NiFi.
  • Experience in troubleshooting the data issues.
  • Experience in complex SQL, DevOps.
  • Knowledge on GCP.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science.
  • Certification on data engineering tools and technologies.
  • Experience with large cluster, databases, BI tools, data quality and performance tuning.
  • Written and spoken communication skills.
