In this role you will be responsible for selling our SAAS offering to businesses in Ireland with a fleet of up to 400 vehicles. You will be laser focused on new customer acquisition. This will be achieved through the benefit of qualified leads produced by our business development team, as well as self-identification of new prospects through cold calling and networking. You'll work on assignments of varying complexity that require conceptualization, reasoning, and interpretation.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Presenting product capabilities through web-based demonstrations.
  • Prioritizing activity and sales pipeline to achieve goals, with an emphasis on managing personal time, productivity, and accurate forecasting.
  • Following up on proposals and negotiating contracts with prospective customers.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, from initial contact through to closure of the initial sale.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of services offered by Verizon Connect, and awareness of the competition (including their market share, pricing, and services).
  • Completing all required documentation, reporting, forecasting, bids, and proposals within assigned territory using Salesforce.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in sales.
  • Experience of selling technology based solutions to business customers.
  • Experience of winning new customers and carrying a personal sales quota.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Experience of selling software to business customers.
  • Experience of consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Working knowledge of SaaS and Cloud Computing.
  • Strong territory and contact management skills.
  • A consultative approach to sales and solution selling skills.
  • Knowledge of commonly recognised sales methodologies.
