We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative problem solver to conduct business analysis, reporting, and own the management of business tools. The analyst will be a key member of the Business Operations Portfolio Management team and will have the opportunity to directly impact the team’s growth and development. The Business Operations Data Analyst will report to the Portfolio Management Leader and will interface with other key stakeholders as the role will be the contact person for the Project Management tools. The role also requires good interpretation of large datasets and being able to translate business requests into meaningful outputs that drive the business forward.

  • Perform System Administrator-like tasks such as; maintaining hierarchies, updating roles, updating access, & troubleshooting for the business tools.
  • Partnering with other stakeholders to improve issues and/or make recommendations on the business tools as needed.
  • Data mining from multiple sources, analyzing the data, and building and delivering accurate, high-quality, thoughtfully designed reports and analyses to address operational and strategic questions.
  • Contributing to executive presentations including building from scratch, adapting existing formats, clarifying requirements, updating and providing feedback.
  • Helping to define and drive the analytics strategy and modeling approaches.

Analytical skills to understand the current situation, opportunity and prioritization. Strong communication and time management skills. A "get things done" mentality. You move fast and you don’t settle for the status quo, always on the hunt for the next big thing. Adept at multitasking, with great attention to detail. You are comfortable with multiple aspects of a business, including product, operations, and strategy.
You’ll need to have:

  • This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with System Administrator duties.
  • Visual tools experience (Tableau, Qlik, ThoughtSpot)

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with Alteryx, or other Analytics software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to assimilate a broad range of data, analyzing, and distinctly packaging the information to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively across operating units.
  • Experience with Workfront, or other Work Mgmt and Project Mgmt software.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis background.
  • Financial Modeling skills.
