What you’ll be doing...

The Aircraft Crew Chief is assigned to a company aircraft to ensure the highest level of technical support is achieved. The Aircraft Crew Chief is responsible to perform routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and conduct inspections that conform to the standards established by the Company, CFRs, and industry Best Practices.

  • Works directly with the Lead Crew Chief for compliance of aircraft records, status, and standard practices.
  • Responsible for the care and appearance of assigned aircraft.
  • Manages timely scheduling and method of maintenance to minimize impact on flight schedules.
  • Provides oversight of contract maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications of assigned aircraft.
  • Reviews and ensures all required entries into the aircraft records and related documentation are accurate and managed in accordance with Company and FAA requirements.
  • Provides recommendations for aircraft improvements, modifications, upgrades, etc.
  • Develops maintenance work scopes, obtain proposals, and review invoices for accuracy.
  • Communicates directly with the Senior Manager - Aviation Support for assessment of aircraft budgets.
  • Reviews and documents compliance of Airworthiness Directives and mandatory manufacturer service bulletins.
  • Schedules contract cleaning services to ensure aircraft presentation at the highest standard.
  • Flight Technician duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager - Aviation Support.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificates.
  • A Valid US Passport.
  • One or more years of experience working on corporate aircraft.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • FAA Inspection Authorization preferred.
  • Factory schooled in company aircraft preferred.
  • Fiveor more years of expereince in corporate aviation.
  • Experience working closely with flight crew and passengers to ensure the highest quality of care and attention to detail is given in every aspect of aircraft maintenance.
  • Experience with performing all scheduled, unscheduled and pre-purchase inspections.
  • Ability to comply with and keep up to date on all FAA regulations and directives.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair multiple aircraft discrepancies.
