What you’ll be doing...

Delivering an outstanding customer and employee experiences (CX & WPX) is defining which organizations will lead in the Digital world. Verizon is leading the industry in working with global businesses to make the promise of CX and outstanding WPX a reality, this role is a pivotal appointment in the European business working with Clients and the Advanced communications leadership team.

This position is a sales principal, driving sales of the Customer Experience and Workplace collaboration portfolio in Verizon target customers and prospects. The individual will lead the development and execution of engagements with target clients, typically working with the very largest companies to shape their vision and provide a pragmatic and practical plans that deliver against their needs.

  • Responsibility for a defined set of client engagements, driving the sale and execution of CX & WPX to achieve pull-through of the Verizon portfolio
  • Leading the development of sales plans within the target base of Verizon customer-owning opportunities and driving the closure of deals.
  • Engaging at business level in large MNC clients to articulate Verizon’s vision from CX & WPX and converting these conversations into meaningful engagements. This position requires knowledge and experience of the EMEA Contact Centre market, consultative solution selling, industry knowledge and experience within one or more of Verizon's targeted industries (Finance, Health, Manufacturing, Entertainment, Pharmaceutical, Transportation, or Utilities), and a proven and extensive client relationship history with CxO level leaders.
  • You are excited by working with clients to identify solutions that take their business to the next level. You build credibility quickly with your subject matter expertise, consultative selling approach, and understanding of the client and their business. You thrive in a role that allows you to build partnerships with customers, create innovative solutions, and then see those strategies come to life. You enjoy working independently but also working with other teams to drive sales and achieve the best outcomes for the customer.

Where you'll be working...

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
  • Sold and advised on complex CX technical solutions for large business clients.
  • Understanding of the WPX technical solutions.
  • From a consulting or technology sales background with experience in leading client engagements that span business and technology towers
  • Experienced in consultative selling – several years’ overall related experience
  • Proven record of shaping client thinking on business related issues
  • Business/Financial case acumen – able to shape and value complex solution sales with measured client benefits and realisation strategies
  • Ability to rapidly understand new technologies, resulting applications and solutions
  • Multilingual desirable, but must be competent in written and spoken English
  • Highly mobile – able to travel at short notice
  • Gets results through others
  • Excellent interaction and presentation capabilities
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.
