What you’ll be doing...

As a senior analyst on the Technology & Policy Center (TPC) team, you will serve a key role in advancing Verizon’s public policy engagement strategy. The TPC team sits at the intersection of technology and policy, and works closely with Verizon’s strategic alliances, public policy, and government affairs teams to leverage the physical center to create opportunities to connect with key stakeholders in the DC area.

  • Develop compelling narratives that showcase the transformative powers of technology on industry and society as a whole.
  • Lead tours through our experience/demo area with important stakeholders.
  • Manage the coordination and logistics of all activity in the TPC, working closely with vendors, outside guests and Verizon colleagues to ensure successful events.
  • Be responsible for day-of event setup and support.
  • Remain in frequent communication with the Verizon business segments and curate a selection of technologies that showcase 5G capabilities and highlight innovation.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to work in the DC office as required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Organizational skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver strong results in a timely manner.
  • A demonstrated interest in technology and/or policy.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Experience with graphic design.
