What you’ll be doing...

You will be part of a highly technical engineering organization that is focused on the engineering, implementation, and project management of new and existing equipment technologies into Verizon’s domestic and international networks. You will work hand-in-hand with the organization’s Director and leadership.

  • Manage and report out on staffing updates and requests.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with intra-organization staff and peer organization staff.
  • Track and report on various programs and training.
  • Auditing financial transactions for adherence to policy and approval levels.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings.
  • Assist with coordinating special events such as organization-wide employee meetings and leadership summits.
  • Create and manage various reports in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications.
  • Conduct data analysis and research as requested.

What we’re looking for...

You’re analytical, organized, and detail oriented. A self-starter and quick learner who can work independently, but you’re also great to have on a team. You’re no stranger to a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines and you adapt to changing priorities and juggle multiple projects with ease. You take a lot of pride in your work and that’s why people count on you to deliver.
You’ll need to have:

  • This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator, Administrative Support, or similar role.
  • Experience in Google and Microsoft Office Suite of Products.
  • Experience in Excel (VLOOKUP functions and pivot tables) and PowerPoint (assemble strong, professional presentations).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in internal financial and HR policies, procedures and processes.
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision making skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
