What you’ll be doing...

  • Complete management and operations of various security software packages in Verizon on over 500k endpoints on prem and in the cloud.
  • Manage and update policies on Agent based application Crowdstrike across multiple servers and end user endpoints.
  • Testing new configurations and policies on various operating systems and cloud environments.
  • Working with various levels of management and System administrator groups ensuring security policies are maintained.
  • Troubleshooting software on various endpoints and deploying software via various automated methods.
  • Identifying issues and quickly providing secure solutions.
  • Work closely with security vendors
  • Assist and develop packages to deploy software.
  • Support PCI, FISMA, and SOC endpoint areas through internal and external audits.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • System Administrator experience on window servers/desktops, Mac desktops, Linux, and Cloud.
  • Experience with Crowdstrike, Broadcom Data Center Security, Tenable, Workspace One.

Even better if you have:

  • Six or more years of experience working with Crowdstrike and Broadcom IDS/IPS software.
  • Five or more years of System Administrator experience on window servers/desktops, Mac desktops, Linux, and Cloud.
  • Overall knowledge of current cyber threat landscape and mechanisms used to protect endpoints (servers/desktops) and the network.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with various peer groups, and a strong team player.
  • Ability to follow instructions and processess with minimal instruction.
  • Certifications in related field of security, networking, and Operating Systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of PCI, FISMA, and SOC controls.
