What you’ll be doing...

As an Associate Director on Verizon’s GTS Team, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end delivery of multiple digital programs on Home Internet Sales and Service applications including FiOS & FWA, Digital Sales Support apps (Payment Portal, Activate Switch, Transfer your Service), cloud-based platforms and emerging technologies.

  • Providing technical leadership and/or business-related subject matter expertise on large, highly complex projects.
  • Working on key commercialization aspects like network expansion, false positives, cancel reduction, call in rate and more.
  • Driving the strategy for AR enabled solutions for Self-Setup, Whole home Wi-Fi and connected platform solutions
  • Delivering technology solutions on Network repeaters, device evolution and working closely with OEMs on firmware updates.
  • Performing reporting and analysis for our Home Internet (Fios & FWA) products and be able to provide comprehensive numbers and provide opportunities to improve our sales. Partnering with products and innovation teams to cater to evolving value added services platform on FWA.
  • Ensuring end to end deliverables across the Home Internet Sales applications. Deliver key market enablers like the MDU expansion programs, Same day installation and Internet in a Box.
  • Delivering the proactive and reactive care platforms to ensure we have proactive and predictive help for our customers.
  • Working closely with the DOC - Digital center of excellence to maintain lower SLAs on production issues.
  • Performing high-level activities (e.g., client requirements collection/analysis, systems design etc.) related to all phases of the systems life cycle.
  • Collaborating with CXP and Pega GTS teams on North Star Architecture platform migration and integration.
  • Performing project management activities (e.g., planning, sizing, staffing, scheduling, and implementing).
  • Independently analyze and proactively manage problems, and make decisions that impact overall systems and projects.
  • Performing multivariate tests in Digital platforms and also making sure continuous process optimization tests are executed on the platform.
  • Validating the design/architecture by prototyping proposed solutions in short timeframes. After successful validation, create detailed designs and design reviews with internal and external teams.
  • Partnering with the support team to profile mobile applications for potential bottlenecks (e.g., memory leaks, performance, and battery issues).
  • Motivating and training staff to maximize productivity and promote their professional development in a manner consistent with Verizon company policies and practices.
  • Supervising and managing the performance of direct reports. Guiding, coaching, motivating, and mentoring team members to achieve assigned goals and objectives.
  • Managing the rewards and employee growth based upon performance. Employee hiring, career development, succession planning, and periodic training.

Where you’ll be working:

This role will be based out of one of the locations listed in the posting. In this role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in software engineering and development, including leading IT teams through Business Analysis, Project Management, and digital technologies.

Even better if you have:

  • A Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology management or related discipline.
  • Prior experience with development on React UI stack.
  • Experience partnering with Business and IT teams at multiple levels to drive alignment and delivery of complex problems.
  • Proven record of using data-driven CX experiments to optimize ecommerce shopping flows.
  • Experience with incorporating data analytics elements and ML algorithms to create personalized user experiences.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, facilitate workout sessions to ideate and derive joint cross-functional solutions to improve digital experiences and streamline Omni processes.
  • Experience in business process transformation and user experience optimization.
  • Relevant project and program delivery experience.
  • Knowledge of technology selection, architecture, and full stack implementation.
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting mission critical 24X7 production systems and leading real-time high-stakes risk mitigation plans and driving timely decisions.
  • Strong presentation skills.
