What you’ll be doing...

You will be playing a prominent role in supporting middleware products across all business portfolios. You will be involved in production support activities, join CMDs to resolve critical blockers etc. You will focus on performing traditional operations functions, such as resolving incidents and being part of crisis calls and have equal focus on developing automated self-healing solutions to make the application more resilient based on root cause analysis. The role requires good problem solving, operations skills as well automation skills to get deeper into the issues and improve SLI’s.

  • Responsible for availability and stability of applications.
  • Coordinating with multiple stakeholders for onboarding new application into cloud, application migration from On-Prem to Cloud.
  • Performance fine tuning.
  • Troubleshooting critical issues and performing root cause analysis.
  • Performing middleware upgrades as part of maintaining security standards.
  • Providing technical recommendations to improve application performance.
  • Working along with fellow team members to ensure tasks / activities are completed on time.

What we’re looking for...

We are looking for a candidate with knowledge in middleware technologies like Weblogic, Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat, JBoss (installation/configuration/administration/Troubleshooting), Shell scripting for automation, MQ: Rabbit MQ/IBM MQ, Jenkins, Ansible.
You’ll need to have:

  • This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
  • Bachelor's degree or one or more years of experience.
  • One or more years of experience in Weblogic, Apache HTTPD, Apache Tomcat, JBoss etc.
  • Good experience in DevOps tools like Jenkins / Artifactory / Gitlab.
  • Good knowledge in automation (shell scripting / Ansible).

Even better if you have:

  • Good experience in MQ products like Rabbit MQ / IBM MQ etc.
