Driver B is responsible for loading and delivering supplies. These are both indoor and outdoor activities.


Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: 

A. Loads and delivers materials, supplies, tools and equipment to Company and customer locations.

B. Drives various types of supply vehicles up to 18,000 lbs., MGW. In excess of 18,000 lbs., MGW, except tractor-trailer as prescribed by law.

C. Checks material being delivered and receipts necessary papers.

D. Lifts and carries large equipment (booths, PBX equipment, crates, furniture, etc.), generally with the assistance of others.

E. Performs storeroom tasks, as needed.

F. May be required to perform additional duties and tasks as required by the Company.


A. Tests – Results obtained in standard tests for this position must meet minimum requirements established by the Company, in accordance with Company policy.

B. Normal medical authorization for this job except if previously taken and is still considered valid.

C. Previous experience in the use of power work equipment, e.g., hoists, booms, forklifts and work savers.

D. A valid state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.  Where a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required, the applicant must pass a drug and alcohol test and qualify on the Department of Transportation's CDL physical, written, and skills qualifications tests.

E. Must meet applicable federal and state standards for operating the size vehicles covered by this job title.

F. Ability to drive vehicles with standard transmission may be required in some locations except Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.

G. Satisfactory performance rating in present job.

H. Satisfactory attendance/punctuality record in present job.

I. Must be available to work scheduled tours designated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement and/or the needs of the business.  Associates may be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as the needs of the business necessitate.
