What you’ll be doing...

Sr Mgr-Software Development is a highly motivated, self-directed individual committed to achieving business goals and contributing to the Organization’s business success. Reporting directly to VP-IT in VBG, this person shall be responsible for managing Budget, Resource, Vendor Relations, Security and Clearance for the VP Org.

  • Act as a Security Focal Point (SFP) for the VP Organization.
  • Coordinate the implementation of key security programs such as SSDLC, ensure hygiene, roll out security tools, and coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Track and report on key metrics such as QRS, Vulnerability, Asset/CMDB maintenance, and Zero days such as Log4J.
  • Be a VP SPOC for Global clearances for VZ India and vendor engagements for portfolio Applications.
  • Create, assign, track, report and complete specific plans and projects such as employee engagement initiatives. Manage executive meeting agendas and action items.
  • Build excellent working relationships with non-reporting teams of all levels to achieve project goals.
  • Leverage communication tools to enhance the employee experience and reduce administrative and execution burden.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager

What we’re looking for...

You have strong organization and interpersonal skills, proven ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish, a passion for delivering results, and a curiosity for what is possible. You are detail and results-oriented, and you effectively and efficiently measure progress and success.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in executive presentation development and storytelling.

Even better if you have:

  • Project/program management experience as you will be involved in several projects at a time that may not coincide with one another.
  • Strong collaboration skills, ability to work independently and part of a team.
  • Experience presenting and creating slide decks/presentations.
  • Written and verbal communications to clearly and regularly communicate status, issues and risks to executive stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint presentation and excel spreadsheet development.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, including Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms.
  • Ability to participate at executive meetings and present to senior leaders.
  • Experience managing/working with large cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to transition concepts and ideas to story-telling slides.
  • Ability to participate at executive meetings and present to senior leaders.
  • Ability to quickly resolve complex problems and identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action to keep program schedules on track.
  • Strong analytical skills and Business Operations experience.
