At Verizon, we don’t just wait for the future, we build it. And that is never truer than in our Recruitment Marketing Team. We have a great opportunity for a Senior Manager to lead the global recruitment marketing, media strategy and execution, branding, and social media for Talent Acquisition.
In this role you will elevate, execute, and manage our global recruitment marketing strategy. You’ll provide thought leadership, optimize our marketing and media resources, shape a comprehensive external communications and social media strategy, and develop strong relationships with key external and internal partners.

  • Consulting with and advising Talent Acquisition leadership to provide expertise, identifying opportunities and leading effective execution of recruitment marketing and employer brand strategies.
  • Inspiring your team of 9 recruitment marketing professionals; reporting directly to the Director of Talent Attraction & Programs in Basking Ridge, NJ.
  • Developing, deploying, measuring, and optimizing integrated marketing plans that are aligned with our demand for talent and have direct KPIs.
  • Creating marketing plans and providing recommendations to Talent Acquisition leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Evolving metrics and scorecards to measure the effectiveness of existing and newly implemented strategies, quickly recalibrating to ensure strong results.
  • Managing recruitment marketing budget, invoicing, contracts, and LOAs.
  • Leading multiple vendor relationships including advertising agencies and platform partners.
  • Developing business cases to define need and influencing adoption of recruitment marketing and social media strategies and initiatives.
  • Influencing and educating leaders and business partners with a clear marketing approach to build an understanding of new employment brand and recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Optimizing career site with content and imagery tailored to the candidate journey.
  • Ensuring consistency with corporate branding strategy.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

No stranger to working in a fast-paced environment, you convey a sense of urgency and manage multiple competing priorities with ease, never missing a deadline.
You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of experience in marketing, media, talent acquisition or relevant work experience.
  • Experience with recruitment marketing, media strategy and execution, marketing plans and segmented messaging.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience in recruitment marketing or employer brand at a Fortune 100.
  • Expertise in communications, social media strategies and SEO.
  • Experience managing international campaigns.
