What you’ll be doing...

The 5G Product Marketing Manager leads programs and projects intended to drive and accelerate growth in Verizon Business Group's (VBG) 5G portfolio. This role is responsible for supporting Verizon Business Group's 5G product launch efforts, activing new channels of growth for 5G, developing campaigns, programs and offers to drive sales and revenue in achievement of VBG's sales and revenue goals.

  • Align product benefits to customer business outcomes and buyer propensities. Memorialize customer use cases to be used in the field to better understand the product.
  • Collaborate and manage projects across multi-discipline, multi-functional organizations.
  • Strategicla and tactical execution of products and services into markets based upon market need and opportunity.
  • Communicate at working and sr. executive levels.
  • Using a solutions oriented mindset; proactive ability to develop solutions to challenges, make recommendations (to leadership) and then execute.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

We are looking for a passionate, self-starter who possesses very strong communication and collaboration skills; someone who is results oriented and who can think strategically while also bringing strategy to a very practical application to achieve success. We are looking for someone who is excited to be able to drive market growth in one of the most exciting technology areas in the world - 5G.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience in: Marketing, PR, Communications, Product Marketing, Product Management, or Sales in software or technology domain.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Core marketing competencies such as: copywriting, business acumen, product expertise in wireless networks, building customer relationships.
  • Ability to be a highly energetic, highly motivated, and a critical thinker.
  • Capability to be a problem solver, detail oriented, and results and execution focused.
