What you’ll be doing...

As a Principal Digital Operations Archtiect, you will be on the forefront of improving operational efficiency and quality for a high-volume, high-velocity, revenue-critical, marketing-focused content delivery organization. You will leverage a combination of Process, Project, Digital Product Management, and Technical skills to ensure flawless execution of content updates to Verizon’s Consumer ecosystem, including a role in release planning and execution, defect resolution, root cause analysis and troubleshooting, and both developing and executing strategies to minimize future risk and increase overall operational effectiveness.


  • Participate in release planning activities with a focus on stakeholder alignment, ensuring multiple parties have a shared context and understanding of what/why/when changes need to be published and all appropriate actions have been identified to achieve the necessary outcomes.
  • Participate in the asset and requirements management process, helping ensure that the implementation teams have what they need to be successful.
  • Help manage planning or implementation risks, including risk identification, quantification, communication, and mitigation planning.
  • Play a leading role in the troubleshooting, prioritization, and resolution of content implementation and release issues.
  • Identify and help implement cross-functional process enhancements to increase productivity, quality, change tolerance, and communication with globally dispersed team members and stakeholders. This will include process mapping, documentation, modelling, requirements, and project management of implementation.
  • Identify and help implement platform and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency, stability, and scalability, including issue identification, requirements, stakeholder alignment, and implementation support.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Solid Project Management fundamentals including task identification, project planning, issue tracking, status management, and team facilitation.

*This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

  • An MBA or Advanced Degree.
  • HIghly proactive, responsive, reliable, and relentless in the pursuit of resolving short term issues, and longer term solutions
  • Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Willingness to periodically stick with issues after-hours or over the weekend if circumstances warrant
  • Direct and tangible experience improving complex, mission critical, multi stakeholder processes
  • Solid Project Management fundamentals including task identification, project planning, issue tracking, status management, and team facilitation.
  • Working technical Product Management experience and the ability to work with developers and operations teams to define business-relevant, elegant and scalable platform improvements.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, leadership, diplomacy, and persuasion skills
  • Strong Experience in business process analysis and optimization
  • Expertise in SDLC and content deployment project management fundamentals
  • Experience with enterprise ticket and workflow management tools (e.g. JIRA).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple/simultaneous, highly complex, cross-functional projects/initiatives
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and under pressure of very stringent deadlines
  • Must be proficient in either the G-Suite or Microsoft Office document-related applications (e.g. Powerpoint/Slides, Excel/Sheets, etc.)
