What you’ll be doing...

The work you’ll be doing will support multiple mission critical applications within the Service Assurance domain under Network systems. You and your team will provide applications support and deliver reliable and efficient systems-related solutions. The applications you manage are centric towards Service Activation, Data Mediation. Leading, developing and bringing out the best in your team.

  • Driving Speeding, Efficiency and Innovation as a culture
  • Establishing relations with stakeholders, be able to pin point external changes, Sense and adapt to the fore coming changes.
  • Setting the right goals for the team
  • Handling project budgets and adjusting project plans to meet deadlines.
  • Ensuring projects are staffed effectively and follow appropriate systems life cycles.
  • Developing and leading project status updates with client groups and IT teams.
  • Seamless delivery maintained across different swim lanes in the team.
  • Performance management, Motivate and elevate the team's results.
  • Articulate, guide, and build SME expertise within teams
  • Guiding and coach the team catering to individual career aspirations and setting measurable goals for them.
  • Business and stakeholder management, understand the big picture and connect the dots for the team members creatively.
  • Delegating responsibilities and decisions to help empower people and teams.
  • Working closely with external teams to define release content and ensure growth of the platform to meet competitive demands.
  • Leading and mentoring web and application programming interface teams through software platform releases, ensuring products are on spec, architecturally sound, and delivered on time.

What we’re looking for...

You are skilled in understanding business needs, setting and managing expectations, building confidence through effective communication, reliable delivery, robust processes, and sound reporting metrics. You are great at driving efficiency through automation and innovation, adopting the latest technology.


You’ll need to have:

  • This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
  • Bachelor’s degreeor fouror more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience leading and engaging a team, mentoring others, and recruiting talent.
  • Experience driving application development and maintenance of C++,java, Scala and Hadoop based technologies.
  • Experience in Network domains like Fios, IEN, MEC, 5G, 4G LTE, etc.
  • Experience in Java , Spring boot, K8s , AWS and domain knowledge of BSS/OSS systems and Service Assurance in specific.
  • Experience implementing Object Oriented Web Programming and exposure to React, Node.JS, Spring Boot, PL/SQL Technologies.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and DEVOPS implementation.
  • Experience in leading team’s towards secure software development

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience of project design, development, implementation and applications.
  • Project management certification (e.g. PMP , ACP).
  • Knowledge in AWS (Any cloud platform), PL/SQL, Reporting tools
  • Experience in utilizing SRE, SOE platforms for Application stability, modernization
