What you’ll be doing...

You will perform complex and detailed review of contract documents that Verizon is negotiating with our Verizon Business Group customers. Contract reviews are performed to ensure billing and collections supportability. Contract language is negotiated to limit manual implementation and billing requirements.

  • Review all types of contracting documents which Verizon utilizes in the Verizon Business Group segment. This position will support our Enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate with our internal business partners in Sales, Legal, Contract Management, PCM, Solution Architects, and others.
  • Represent Business Bill To Cash as the Subject Matter Expert in internal contract reviews, negotiations and approvals.
  • Influence contract language for billing supportability and auditability.
  • Research and identify alternative or optimal billing solutions using expert judgment and working with internal stakeholders to define contract specific solutions.
  • Ensure all Business Bill To Cash groups that are impacted are informed of solutions.
  • Project manage complex opportunities, lead and participate in conference calls related to internal deal negotiations, and development of IT solutions as required.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

You also have a customer service orientation and are a great communicator who can interact well with a diverse range of people. This position requires a solution-oriented approach with an ability to evaluate and analyze customer, sales or contract requirements and identify alternative solutions.
You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Contract Management Experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Knowledge of Verizon products and billing systems.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook) as well as Google G-Suite applications.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to resolve complex and non-standard process issues.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to work independently or with limited direction from management.
  • Management skills and the ability to influence others by gaining buy-in from partner organizations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels internal and external to Business Bill To Cash.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple reviews in parallel.
