What you’ll be doing...
You will be a senior member of the Network Systems team as we look to increase automation, improve security and standardize operating environments within the Service Assurance (SA) team. You will also be responsible for disseminating the knowledge to all levels of the organization including cross-functional stakeholders, senior management and to peers/mid-level engineers. Responsibilities include:
Providing regular project/program updates to senior leadership.
Ensuring business priorities can be monitored and measured throughout the process.
Communicate the technology roadmap to internal stakeholders.
Perform hands-on coding work on complex business solutions, develop new ideas and propose innovative solutions.
Provide technical consultation and guidance to the SA software development teams.
Where you'll be working:
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we’re looking for...
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Experience with the following tool set: Python, JIRA, Git, Jenkins, DevOps tools, Microservices, Web development, relational database, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and G Suite tools.
Have the ability to:
Thrive in a dynamic environment - multi-task and be flexiblewith changing business needs.
Manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
Conduct meetings, evaluate issues, provide solutions and drive tight timelines.
Possess leadership, organizational,and relationship management skills.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Even better if you have:
Experience with the following: Micro services, Cloud technologies, Linux scripting, Kubernetes and agile development methodology.
