What you’ll be doing...

You will execute keynote address requests - both onstage and virtual - for Verizon executive communications, ensuring on-target, timely, on-budget and on-brand production and delivery of associated marketing collateral.You will tap into your outstanding producer, project management, and communication skills with a go-getter attitude. Disciplined in brand management, you will participate in the creative development process and ensure final output is on the mark. With an understanding of event execution, you will support and be responsible for the organization of production logistics.

  • Develop and maintain solid inter-departmental relationships, fostering collaboration and accountability of directly responsible individuals (DRIs).
  • Collect clear creative briefs for project teams in order to document and keep all aligned to communication strategies and event objectives.
  • Partner with event organizations and outside vendors in production management efforts.
  • Collaborate on creative development and direction with event stakeholder, executive communications, and creative and production teams.
  • Document all meetings and reviews to recap discussion and pull out clear next steps with proper DRI.
  • Present concepts to stakeholders, obtain feedback, and translate that feedback for the working creative and production teams.
  • Review change requests and respond with schedule/cost impacts along with alternatives.
  • Ensure all regulatory, legal and compliance, and branding guidelines are followed.
  • Responsible for asset management of contributing elements and final project files for each event.
  • Use knowledge and understanding of graphic design, creative, and production to facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and creative and production teams.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or business.
  • Three or more years of professional level experience in a project management or producer role.
  • Experience in executive communications and working with C-level executives.
  • Knowledge of integrated marketing and communication channels (print, online, promotions, social, TV, experiential events), with the ability to match the channel with the communication need.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, both through idea generation and assessment of ideas generated by others.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills. Ability to gain stakeholder trust and effectively manage expectations.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Crisis management skills, resourcefulness, and solution-oriented abilities.
  • Excellent creative project management skills, high organization, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong understanding of the creative process, as well as design and print/web production.
