What you’ll be doing...

The Artifcial Intelligence & Data (AI&D) Organization at Verizon focuses on delivering the power of data and AI to drive our marketplace leadership through innovative driven solutions that create value for our customers, shareholders, V teamers and society. This role is within the business enablement group within AI&D organization.

As a AI Solutions Managerwith AI&D, you will be partnering closely with the Verizon Digital Marketing group to define and drive personalized customer experience solutions using data/insights and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) which will have an immediate and significant impact on our revenue.

As a senior member of the team, you will build connections and collaborate closely with data scientists, digital marketing business groups and technology teams developing AI/ML solutions driving personalized marketing use cases. You willbe seen as a thought leader and forward leaning partner to shape, prioritize and deliver AI&D strategy, shape ideas into business cases, access requirements, use case formulation, develop strategies to fix the business problems, partner with stakeholders to design, implement changes and measure value. You will act as a catalyst between our organization and business and/or technology team(s), leading data science projects that drive sales, product recommendation and personalization, marketing effectiveness, channel optimization, better customer experience, and/or operational efficiency.

  • Closely partner with a digital marketing group and drive business strategy and execution of AI based solutions for Real Time Marketing (RTM) use cases for prospects and Verizon customers.
  • Orchestrator of AI solutions with active involvement from opportunity identification through to deployment & adoption.
  • Partnering closely with strategic business and/or technology partners to ideate, establish and execute initiative roadmaps.
  • Responsible for driving results through AI/ML solutions (end to end) and providing periodic updates on status of the project/program outlining key phases, deliverables, milestones, business value target/archived, etc..
  • Leading cross functional teams (onshore and/or offshore) of data scientist, ml engineers, data engineers, developers, test leads, etc.. responsible for deploying AI solutions at scale through A/B tests,adoption, etc.
  • Preparingregular program updates to senior management and key stakeholders.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's or four or more years of relevant experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience driving digital personalization.
  • Experience designing, developing, A/B testing and deploying enterprise solutions, personalizing customer experience using real time & batch ML models and insights.
  • Experience partnering with data scientists for AI use cases.
  • Experience managing and leading products/projects in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Marketing Technologies including Adobe analytics, Google analytics, LiveRamp, etc..
  • Knowledge of Data Visualization Dashboarding tools: Tableau, QLIK, Looker and/or ThoughtSpot)
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge recommendation and personalization products within the AI spectrum.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree. Master’s degree in computer science, information management or an AI-related discipline
  • Excellent analytical, project management, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of GCP BigQuery and analytics using HQL, SQL, noSQL, etc..
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently and effectively under time constraints and deliver results by critical deadlines.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency and experience in engaging and influencing large teams and functional leaders.
  • Consulting experience working transformational AI initiatives.
