What you’ll be doing...
Directly supporting the Director for Public Sector Capture, the Sr. Manager, Business Strategy and Capture Success provides leadership, capture strategy development and oversees execution of strategic capture initiatives that are critical to supporting the growth of Verizon’s Public Sector business and transformation efforts across the broader Business Development & Strategic Sales (BDSS) team.
This position oversees a myriad of capture strategy initiatives that will define a best-in-class capture capability within the Public Sector and includes improved systems, processes, and tools,metrics and measurement,and access to expert consulting resources. This role requires a firm knowledge of industry leading capture processes and strategies, is an expert in the business development lifecycle, and capable of leading a diverse team of Verizon SME’s, managers, and consultants to accomplish strategic initiatives that will enable a best-in-class capture capability at Verizon. We are looking for a process-oriented problem solver with expertise in stakeholder engagement and communications, process improvement, program and project management, data analysis, and application of industry best practices for capture management.
