What you’ll be doing...

As a communications manager focused on ecosystem growth you will be responsible for the strategic definition and execution of communication tactics to enable a streamlined partnership strategy across the New Business Incubation team. You will lead communications to support the ecosystem growth team as they work to build an ecosystem of partners, collaborators and management tools for a growing portfolio in robotics, drones, location technology, IoT, energy, and more. In this role you will:

  • Leading the ecosystem partner communication strategy, planning and execution to guide the development of New Business Incubation partner strategies, plans and communications.
  • Working with strategy and business leaders to build and own and execute communications tactics to effectively connect with new partners.
  • Leading the strategic development and implementation of communication strategies to efficiently manage partners and aid in their adoption of the partner portal and marketplace.
  • Definingand track communications KPIs to measure the success of the ecosystem program and set short/medium/long and term goals.
  • Collaboratingwith cross-functional teams and identified partners to develop case studies, white papers, execute events, webinars, and more.
  • Developing effective and efficient content deliverables to connect with partners and help present the partnership ecosystem.
  • Ensurebest-in-class communication cadence and formats to reach the ecosystem team’s goals and objectives.
  • Supporting the team's marketing efforts, where needed.
  • Supporting internal and external event and activation planning and execution.

Where You'll be working:

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Eight or more years of relevant work experience in communications at a startup or corporate, VC, management consulting, corporate innovation, business development, and/or new venture creation at a startup or within an enterprise.
  • Experience in brand communications including strategy, execution and analysis
  • Experience working on both strategic and technical projects.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 50% of time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Startup experience or experience working with startups within a corporation.
  • Experience communicating about highly technical products including but not limited to drones, robotics, IoT
  • SaaS/B2B experience.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and create clarity out of a complex environment.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and companies.
  • Experience working across a portfolio of products at different maturity stages
  • Experience leading an organization at C level.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to navigate cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with investment and mergers and acquisitions preferred.
