What you’ll be doing...

As a Lead, you will be playing the role of a key architect/leadfor Verizon Consumer Group organization in Verizon India inorder to drive various GTS/Business initiatives

You will be responsible for:

  • Defining and own Solution Architecture from definition phase to go-live phase
  • Defining reusable components/frameworks, common schemas, standards to be used & tools to be used and help bootstrap the engineering team
  • Identifying actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence direction of decisions for organization. Look for domain trends to drive success of the business.
  • Preparing Operations Review cases backed with metrics and measures
  • Translate customer business issues/opportunities into technical solution/business requirements
  • Work with Product manager and UX team to assist and drive the "best in class", intuitive, engaging and simple customer interaction for Mobile and Web applications
  • Mentor,Coach and Develop juniors in the team on both Technical and Domain functions
  • Possess strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience in developing large scale enterprise applications is a plus. Strong knowledge of design patterns in the enterprise application integration and development space.

You work independently and are always willing to learn new technologies.You enjoy using your analytical mind to solve complex problems. You’re great at working in teams and can use your strong communication skills to get your point across. You get a kick out of finding solutions to meet defined requirements in a fast-paced environment.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Relevant work experience in Java/J2EE.
  • Knowledge of IT architecture design and development.
  • Experience in design and development of enterprise scale applications.
  • Experience in coding, debugging, unit testing applications and troubleshooting coding issues.
  • Experience in React/Angular JS, Javascript, JQuery/JQuery Mobile.
  • Experience in Microservices, Web Services.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master degree.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience in Java/J2EE.
  • Strong communication skills internally and externally directed at clients and third parties.
  • Experience in Devops, AWS Cloud.
