What you’ll be doing...
Working closely and reporting to the EMEA Lead, Employee and Labour Relation, the Labour Relations Consultant is responsible for supporting and delivering Verizon labour strategy in France.
In this role, you will partner on a daily basis with the country HRBP and with our HR CoEs (GHRS, L&D, C&B, etc.) to ensure the effective and commercially oriented delivery of a full range and scope of labour relations activities, covering 2 different legal entities and several offices.
You will also serve as a trusted advisor on sensitive and/or critical issues that pertain to people and related matters, including employee relations; organizational and workforce planning, job design, and change management; performance and career planning management; compensation and pay strategies; guidance on collective bargaining agreements and other legal and policy considerations.
You will support and drive the social climate of the company, the development and implementation of the social strategy in order to build a collaborative relationship with the Trade Unions and Works Councils of Verizon in France as well as the application of employment legislation both individually and collectively.
