What you’ll be doing...

We are seeking an innovative and tech-savvy analytics and automation Manager to deliver meaningful insights to improve customer experience on Verizon Consumer digital channels. You will work with a team of digital analysts to extract and interpret raw data to derive valuable insights for our customers, develop and implement analytics solutions, track key performance metrics to improve customer satisfaction and present monthly reports to senior management. To excel in this role, you will have a background in analytics, automation and statistics, the ability to foster relationships with staff across departments, and be motivated to continuously achieve positive results. The ideal candidate has a knack for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and the customer mindset to convert insights into actionable opportunities to improve digital experience and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop effective analytics strategies and solutions.
  • Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key objectives.
  • Design and build technical processes to deliver near real-time insights using customer feedback, journeys, transactions, and system logs.
  • Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership.
  • Oversee analytics projects to extract, manage, and analyze customer data from multiple applications, ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Communicate and track key performance metrics across departments.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, review their performance, and manage schedules.
  • Generate reports of findings and present these to senior management.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and policies.

This role will be based out of one of the locations listed in the posting. In this role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in an Analytics & Automation Manager Position or similar role.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, computer science, or related field.
  • Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools.
  • Experience in experience with google sheet, slides, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills.
  • Results-driven and able to handle multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in business intelligence tools, software, and dashboards.
