What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is looking for a solutions architect with wireless network and dashboards portal development experience to build and launch the private network (LTE, CBRS, 5G) solution for enterprise markets. The solution enables enterprises to deploy a private network on their premise and offer connectivity to their customers along with continued connectivity to Verizon network. The position requires extensive experience in wireless technology systems and design with background in 3GPP/ LTE/ 5G standards based network elements (Core/ RAN), OSS/BSS, Cloud & Dashboard portal architectures. The ideal candidate should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams on network technology and product development/ engineering to create and validate technology architecture, develop prototypes, reference designs, and UI/UX with product development teams. Minute attention to details and soft-skills will be critical for the professional to be successful in this fast paced role.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Solution Architecture:
• Detailed architecture and design (HLD/ LLD) for Private network solution and Customer
• Experience Dashboards
• Work with product managers to align on new features definition and solution options
• Work with cross functional teams to align on solution architecture for the product
• Drive product development teams for agreed milestones with user story creation, tasks, execution, and deployment
• Project: Drive the Dashboard product development teams with milestone based tasks
• Ensure that there is a clean process for documenting development milestones, and tracking via Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA, etc.).
• Product + Project: Work with the cross functional teams to architect, develop and deliver new products
• Help deliver a seamless and unique solution experience for customers
• Evangelize new technology concepts and be the face of product technology and development efforts across internal and external stakeholders

Where you'll be working...

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

This role can be based out of any valid U.S. based Verizon work location.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science or similar experience.
• Highly focused on details associated with one or more wireless network systems – Core, RAN, IP Networks, OSS/BSS, Dashboards and APIs.
• Ability creating and developing user story requirements for Dashboard products.
• Proven ability to architect and deliver new products with clearly identified deliverables and milestones
• Ability to develop demos using fast-prototyping, and scripting (Python).
• Experience in daily usage of Collaboration tools (Atlassian, Google, Microsoft)
• Skills and efficient communicator across onsite and remote teams
• Education: BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science or similar experience
• Ten years’ experience in wireless technologies with focus on network systems architecture, design, prototypes and APIs
