What you’ll be doing...

You will be joining Verizon Business Group’s Strategy and Transformation team supporting Product Strategy, Product Transformation and the ongoing business operations of the team. VBG Strategy and Transformation is responsible for designing the future of VBG by developing end-to-end strategic and transformation plans and then working together with VBG functions and Corporate functions to execute those plans. This role specifically will help develop, communicate, and organize Product Strategy and Transformation and ensure all critical activities are cared for within the team.

In this exciting and dynamic role, you will help make things better by bringing some order to chaos, authoring and improving materials, and tracking critical work in a fast-paced environment. You are able to operate under limited supervision and you have a proven track record of working through difficult challenges by researching potential directions, collaborating with others, and iterating to find solutions. This role will work with all levels of management, including executive leadership, therefore strong communication skills are important.

  • Being a top-notch visual communicator and information designer – able to transform complex ideas into compelling infographics and executive presentations.
  • Having financial acumen and ability to track deliverables across the team – prioritizing action items, deadlines and status updates with ease.
  • Creating and maintaining executive level presentations forstrategy and transformation initiatives,
  • Developing executive communications
  • Project management of initiatives and action registers
  • Gathering and presenting data in order to fulfill regular and ad-hoc requests including executive level escalations

Where you'll be working...

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four Years of work experience
  • Four or more years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in one or more of the following: executive deck creation, delivery, and meeting planning logistics
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with cross-functional and/or cross-area projects
  • Excellent organizationand time management skills
  • Knowledge of Google.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office productivity applications
  • Knowledge with program and project management tools (Shibumi, Smartsheets).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Two or moreyears of applicable industry/technology experience
  • Ability to create highly professional and informative presentations within brand guidelines
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a high-energy, dynamic, and sometimes unstructured environment
  • Knowledge of Verizon products and services, functions, policies, and procedures
  • Database creation and implementation experience
  • Experience with lo-code/no-code development and scripting (MS Office Script, VBA, Google Script, JavaScript).
  • Ability to provide simplified data visualization or illustrations on operational data, technical solutions, and complicated business processes
